Why Recycle Sawdust?
Sawdust is the by-product produced in every sawmill or wood shop. It comes from a table saw and usually in fine or powder form. They may be treated as waste, but rather than throwing them away, they have plenty of different ways to reuse and recycle owing to its good properties, which is beneficial to the planet.
They can be used as a fuel instead of coal, heavy oil, and gas for industrial boiler. Burning every 10,000 tons of wood sawdust can replace 8,000 tons of coal, reduce 160 tons of SO2 emissions, and 14,400 tons of CO2 emission.
Wood sawdust can also be used as raw material for papermaking, mulch and compost for plant, comfortable bedding for animals, production of particleboard like MDF (Medium-density Fiber Board).
However, piles of bulk sawdust are quite a headache for storage and transportation. Therefore, packaged in bales of sawdust is very popular for customers with its numerous of benefits.
